Other Operations

I was initially licensed as WN7EQE in late 1965, upgrading in early 1966 to General class and assigned WA7EQE. Most of these operations were from Corvallis, Oregon until 1972 when I moved to the Portland (Oregon) metro area.

I held additional station license WB5AAJ in the 1960's and 70's as I often spent the Christmas holidays with relatives in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

During the early 1970's, I decided the EQE suffix was too much of a pain on CW, and applied for a 1x2 call. I was assigned K7FL - the call sign I use today.
